
Electric Frog Street Carnival is an eclectic electronic micro-festival, taking place on Sunday 1st August at the SWG3 studio's in Yorkhill, in the heart of Glasgow's cutting edge arts scene. A unique collaboration conceived to showcase the very best of Glasgow's musical and artistic talent alongside veterans of the scene, this little urban gem promises to deliver an exciting and diverse programme of live music, installations, graffiti art, break dancing and DJ performances.
With a cherry-picked selection of internationally renowned live acts, Electric Frog promises exclusive Scottish appearances by the legendary Liquid Liquid, Simian Mobile Disco, Felix Da Housecat, Planetary Assault Systems, Trus'Me and Alter Ego. Complementing this international selection will be a host of familiar faces from amongst the ranks of Glasgow's own live/club scenes including; Optimo DJs, Sensu, Simon Cordiner (Melting Pot) and Billy Woods (Supermax).
All these attractions take place both indoors and out, around a massive street party, across three specially programmed stages with five bars and a food court (with contingencies in place should the Scottish summer offer up some drizzle). Electric Frog Street Carnival promises something entirely bespoke - a cutting-edge urban micro-festival - where a collection of exceptional summer festival talent can be easily accessed and experienced in the very heart of the city.
Shuttle buses will run from 2230hrs until 2330hrs every 5 minutes from the event to The Admiral bar and the Sub Club (The Umbrella at Central station)
